Lynn M. Bragg, President
Lynn M. Bragg is President of the Glass Packaging Institute (GPI), the trade association representing North America’s glass container industry and has led GPI since March 2011. She has more than 20 years experience in the executive and legislative branches of government and leading trade groups representing American manufacturing.
As a national advocate for the glass container industry, Lynn represents the industry in federal and state matters, including issues involving the U.S. Congress, federal and state regulatory agencies, and state legislatures. She also serves as the official spokesperson in the media and elsewhere on issues affecting the industry.
Along with her trade association experience, including serving as President of the Chocolate Manufacturers Association, Lynn held a nine-year Presidential appointment as Commissioner at the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) and led the independent agency for four years as Chairman and Vice Chairman. There, she was responsible for high visibility decisions involving the enforcement and oversight of critical U.S. fair trade laws. During that time, she developed a deep knowledge of U.S. manufacturing issues. Prior to her service at the ITC, Lynn developed legislative strategies and wrote speeches for a U.S. Senator from Wyoming.
Lynn holds a masters degree from Boston University and a bachelors degree with final honors from Mary Washington College where she served on the Alumni Board. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Manufacturers Council of Manufacturing Associations.
